Cancellation terms
If the trip needs to be cancelled, it must be done in writing by email to the email address: sjoferdir@sjoferdir.is
If a cancellation is received more than 14 days before departure:

Sjóferðir reserves the right to keep 10% of the value of the trip.

If a cancellation is received 14 to 2 days before departure:

Sjóferðir reserves the right to keep 50% of the value of the trip.
If a cancellation is received less than 2 days in advance:

Sjóferðir reserves the right to keep 100% of the fare (no refund)
It is allowed to change the date of the trip if the change is made more than a month in advance.
Groups of 20 people or more:
For group tours, a confirmation fee is charged immediately upon booking and is 25% of the total tour price. Fare must be paid in full no later than 30 days before departure.
If the longer trip needs to be cancelled, it must be done in writing by email to the email address: sjoferdir@sjoferdir.is
If a cancellation is made more than 90 days before departure, Sjóferðir will retain 25% of the cost of the trip (the confirmation fee).
If there is a cancellation 90 to 60 days before departure, Sjóferðir will keep 50% of the cost of the trip.
If there is a cancellation within 60 days before departure, Sjóferðir will keep 100% of the cost of the trip (no refund).
In general

Sjóferðir reserves the right to cancel, postpone a trip or change the schedule due to weather or other reasons, as well as if there is not enough participation.

Sjóferðir is allowed to change the date of the trip if the change is made more than a month in advance.

Cancellation terms may be different from the above, for example in the case of conferences and larger groups.

Sjóferðir reserves the right to change trips, trip descriptions and departure times without notice if deemed necessary.

If there are changes to flights (domestic and international) or boat trips at the time of the scheduled trip with Sjóferðir, the traveler will bear all the additional costs that arise, such as accommodation, food and new means of travel, due to this.

A passenger on a Sjóferðir trip is obliged to obey the instructions of the tour guide and comply with the laws and regulations in force on means of transport, places of rest (especially in the Hornstrandafríðlandin), as he is responsible for any damage he may cause by his behavior.
